INDOWINES, the trading name of PT. INDOWINES, was established in October 23rd, 2003 in Bali, as an importer and distributor of fine wines from the most prestigious wine regions of the world. It is own by two partners; Mr. Bernard Haymoz, currently Managing Director of the company, and Made Wiranata, very well known Indonesian entrepreneur, known for his restaurants, clubs and hotels. The initial aim of the two partners was to bring to consumers, affordable, good quality wines, at affordable prices for massive consumption.
During the first years, Indowines consolidate commercial relation with consolidate and prestigious wine producers from Chile, Australia, Italy, New Zealand and France.
In order to meet the need of it’s clients, Indowines is one of the only fourteen licenses Wine Importers in Indonesia, which is responsible for sleecting the best brands around the globe. Indowines imported wines comes directly from the vinyard in the country of origin, this policy not only ensures quality control and supply continuity but it also creates the necessarey relationship that is integral to the proper marketing of quality wines in Indonesia.
This relationship means there is a tru collaboration between Indowines and the vinyard with extensive or complete portfolio representations and coordinated marketing and promotional activities including visits from wine-makers, export managers, etc ...

Plaga Wine was launched in April 2013 with an immediate and fast success, part of this success it’s atributed to a development of the brand strategy.
Plaga wine brings the concept of easy-to-find, easy-to-drink wine to Indonesia for the first time.
As a result, the new generation of young Indonesians, (Whitout having prior knowledge about wine) are drinking Plaga Wine. In fact, enjoying everytime/everywhere.
Currently, under the concept “CELEBRATE” Plaga Wine has launched it’s new campaign with a resounding success specially in magazines and social media.
Indowines operates as a direct distributor, supplying more than 1.600 clients in retail & hospitality industry of Bali, Lombok and near islands of East Indonesia. In March 2015, Indowines started the expansion of the distribution in other places of Indonesia, opening the markets of Manado, Medan, Central Java, Flores and Surabaya. Ensuring better prices and good service for import and Plaga Wine along Indonesia.
The company employs more than 150 people in Bali & Jakarta consisting of Management, Sales & Marketing staff, Dispatch & Delivery, Accounting, Administration, Ware House Men and IT Department. It also have a temperature controlled warehouse. Indowines constantly promotes wine culture throghout Indonesia by way of wine training for hotels and restaurants staff, regular tasting, media advertising, visits by Wine Makers and product presentations.
